As announced on the Rec Room Blog, the newest Rec Room game update will be released with a new game mode, a new map, and a handful of new features.

New Game Mode - Fling

• Fling is a new addition to Rec Room that is all about throwing and catching. The goal of Fling is to catch the ball being thrown to you or to throw the ball to the person who is asking for it.
• The game mode is played with two teams of 2 players each. One person throws and the other person catches.
• The catch is won if the other person catches the ball in their hands and their feet touch the ground.
• The throw is won if the other person catches the ball and their feet are off the ground.
• After the throw is won, the players switch places and the other person throws and the game continues.
